Well, I kind of got used to the weird growth on my back.
Being serious, radiation levels at this area are very minimal. This is about a mile from first checkpoint, in Zone 2. In fact the offices of the tour agency and staff buildings are past this sign.
After 2nd checkpoint, we were told not to step on a grass. In this place, we had no warnings of anything.
Fun fact, the white “MHC” circle is glued on top of hammer and sickle which was originally on the sign.
You’re famous now!
Are you sure you should you be leaning against the (probably radioactive) Chernobyl sign?
